You Need to Try This 2-Ingredient Pizza Dough
If I had to make a last-minute Italian dinner, I'd put some water on to boil for pasta, and put this dough together for pizza or bread. It's become one of my staples.
This dough uses self-rising flour instead of yeast, so it's technically a "quick bread." Self-Rising Flour has baking powder already added to it. It's a great hack to put together small individual pizzas, flatbreads, or even the base for focaccia!
Basically, it's equal parts self-rising flour and plain greek yogurt, with a little salt. You can use regular yogurt (not the Greek variety), but because it has more liquid, you will need more flour to get the same consistency.
Once you mix the dough, you can just pat it out into the shape you want right on a baking sheet- you don't need to roll it out unless you want to.
I usually bake it around 15 minutes at 400 F, but the timing will depend on the thickness that you use.
If you want to make focaccia, add a little olive oil to the dough, and after you pat it out into a rectangle, push indentations on the top with your fingers. Drizzle oil over the whole thing so it pools into the indentations, and then bake. Add some more oil when it comes out of the oven, and some kosher salt on top.
Let me know what you think, and if you find other uses for it!
