My "Chicken Wine"
I used to try to "appreciate" expensive wines. But the truth is, it's better for your budget to learn to appreciate cheap wines! Folks have been asking about the wine that I have mentioned on my TikTok, so a quick plug for La Vieille Ferme, A.K.A., my chicken wine. It's a nice rosé that's at about a $7 or $8 price-point (at least where I live). It's slightly dry, very drinkable- in fact, it's so drinkable, that you need to be careful not to throw back a bottle in one night.
I don't know about you, but when I find a drinkable wine for $10 or less, I stock up. I think people are starting to catch on, because sometimes it's sold out at the store. But it's on sale right now at Wine.com! (If you buy it through my link I get a small commission.) So now you know what I'm talking about when I am free-ranging my chickens and drinking my "chicken wine."
At the store near me, I've only seen the white and rosé, but on Wine.com they also have a red, sparkling white, and sparkling rosé. Time to stock up for summer!
