It's Banana Bread Season!


My Aunt Wynona never let anything go to waste. If there were a few overripe bananas, she mixed them up in a bowl with a few ingredients, and an hour later: voila! A warm, moist, delicious breakfast. Now I do the same thing, especially on cold winter mornings.


If you have the ingredients on hand (which most of us do), it takes only a few minutes to throw this together and get into the oven.


The recipe is made for an 8 x 4 loaf pan. If you have a 9 x 5 loaf pan (like I do), then decrease the cooking time by 10 minutes.
