Book Recommendation: The Midnight Library by Matt Haig

Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better?

I really enjoyed this book. It's a quick read (300 pages): able to be read in a weekend. The chapters are pretty short, as well, if you would rather stretch it out over a week or two. I found it to be a good choice for the beginning of the year, when we are questioning what we want to do, and sometimes what we have done- and what we have not done. It's life-affirming. THIS life. If you've ever been stuck in a "What If?" loop, this book will help you out.
